The Good the bad the ugly.

So it is great fun in the virtual communities.  You can dance, socialize, create a businesses, and even develop relationships like online dating but I don't recomend it cause you have no idea who is behind that avatar and some are married in real life.
So I am in Second Life and in a couple of virtual opensim worlds.  HeartSong is on the Haven Grid "thehavengrid.outworldz.net:9002:HeartSong"
and in Osgrid "hg.osgrid.org:80:Lbsa Plaza" (look for HeartSong on map).
Haven is a fairly new grid compared to Osgrid.  The wonderful thing about opensim is that everything is free to copy (with the exception of a few grids).   Many of the creative people from Second life are also in the Opensim worlds and have brought their creations. I have found many items that I purchased in Second Life for free in the Opensim worlds.
One of the disadvantages of Opensim is that some of the grids are not stable.  Recently I couldn't get into the HeartSong region in Osgrid.  The owner stated they couldn't fix it and therefore I lost all my property. I was given a new region and free time.

Luckily I have a copy of mostly evrything in my inventory but I have to start from scratch.  I was bothered that I had to create the region again but it gives me a chance to rethink the design of the HeartSong setup.  It's still fun.
