Creative Much?

So one of the the cool things in the virtual worlds (my opinion) is scripts/scripting.  What are scripts?  " Scripts can control the behavior of in-world objects ".  If you are are not a "scripter" you can find many free scripts and drop them in the content of an object... Scripts look like this in your inventory and some are in a folder with the name under which it was  purchased ( hope that makes sense ).  It looks like this... You can drag a script from your inventory into an object as shown in following video...  https://youtu.be/aMEfhmPzBvM  You can also create a new script in the content area (there's a button) and delete what is there and paste a script.   I am pasting a script below the following line... ___________________________________ // :CATEGORY:Online Indicator // :NAME:OnlineIndicator // :AUTHOR:Encog Dod // :CREATED: 2010-01-10 05:20:56 .000 // :EDITED: 2013-09-18 15:38:59 // :ID:584 /

WHY?

So I am not a dancer and there are so many things I don't know how to  do. Also so many things I can't afford to do.  Right now our activities are limited due to diseases (COVID)  around the world. In the Virtual Worlds activities can be unlimited.  You can do things you can't in the real world.  Like Dancing... We can also pick up our dream car...                    Lamborghini   We can Dance in Outer Space... I have gone bowling... Even participated in bull riding Seriously, how many of you reading this have even been near a bull in real life.....not me.                                             (searching for ✋)  There are many people with disabilities that enjoy the Virtual world where no one is disabled (unless you choose to create your avatar with a disability).   As the holidays come along we can also celebrate holidays with others                   CHRISTMAS

TRUTH OR DARE......not?

So,   being in a Virtual World, as mentioned before, you can develop f riendships , romantic relationships, and business relationships .  Since entering the Virtual world I met and have people I consider friends despite them being in other states and even other countries.  When I began I was going to rodeos and laughed so much with 2 hilarious female avatars. To this day I still chat with one of them. (Dearstluv).  Still enjoy her heart.  Such a good natured person. I was also involved in a business venture with someone who created a magazine (Maggie) called WOW ( Wings of Hope Magazine ).  To this day we still interact in the virtual world, phone chat & calls. The beauty of this magazine is that at was available in the virtual world as an online or purchase a hardcopy.  Christmas issue First issue  Now as for the romance.   I was not interested in developing an online romance.  When you are in the virtual world some would approach you with seeking a romantic relationship.  I s

So it is great fun in the virtual communities.  You can dance, socialize, create a businesses, and even develop relationships like online dating but I don't recomend it cause you have no idea who is behind that avatar and some are married in real life.  So I am in Second Life and in a couple of virtual opensim worlds.  HeartSong is on the Haven Grid " thehavengrid.outworldz.net:9002:HeartSong " and in Osgrid " hg.osgrid.org:80:Lbsa Plaza " (look for HeartSong on map). Haven is a fairly new grid compared to Osgrid.  The wonderful thing about opensim is that everything is free to copy (with the exception of a few grids).   Many of the creative people from Second life are also in the Opensim worlds and have brought their creations. I have found many items that I purchased in Second Life for free in the Opensim worlds.  One of the disadvantages of Opensim is that some of the grids are not stable.  Recently I couldn't get into the HeartSong regio

Virtual DJ Clubs

So there are all kinds of Virtual Clubs in Second Life and Opensim worlds.  There are Rock Clubs Christian Clubs Modern Clubs  AND COUNTRY MUSIC CLUBS Once I entered the virtual worlds I loved music and Clubs.  There was maybe 2 good Christian Music Clubs so I created one.   HEARTSONG CLUB SCI-FI EVENT Exploring Clubs was fun but it's not all good for you newbies.  Sometimes you meet people that are only interested in developing romance/sex games.  So you need to ban them so you don't hear them or see them.   In general it is like the real world.  There are ugly people (ugly within) and not.  I enjoy running a Christian Club because we are of like mind and there are so few Christian Clubs so the need is real.

CHRISTIAN BIT

Image
So to my surprise,  Churches are alive and well in the Virtual worlds.   There are all kinds of faiths, languages and sizes.   Some are streamed  with a live preacher speaking through an avatar and then there are churches that video stream live real world services.   There is no lack of believers.  I began to attend a church in Scotland (Calvary Chapel) where the Pastor and his wife Ministered to many.   More often then not there was a showing of about 30  avatars in the services.  The Pastor would play his guitar and sing then preach. It's so awesome to see so many people from around the world gathered together of like mind.

AS MENTIONED EARLIER, I began to look for Christian groups and/or activities.   I found a Christian group that had games and Dances, a second one was a community that also had some Dances and finally I found a park.  The group "Eternal Life" was a sim¹ owned by a male named "Sonic". There were often games or Dances, while streaming Contemporary Christian music. I also met a female - "1Way" who owned a park. I was sitting at a small cafe counter in her park. This was actually the first Christian place I found. I met 1Way when someone dressed in a white robe with an upside down cross on his back walked by.  Not realizing that someone was near chat distance I commented in chat " That is one sick puppy " and to my surprise she responded in agreement lol.  That was my first Oops moment.  We became friends on that day.  Then the third location I found was the "WOW" sim, owned by Maggie.  "WOW" stands for WithOutWalls.  This was mor
