Virtual World Christian

 So,   being in a Virtual World, as mentioned before, you can develop f riendships , romantic relationships, and business relationships .  Since entering the Virtual world I met and have people I consider friends despite them being in other states and even other countries.  When I began I was going to rodeos and laughed so much with 2 hilarious female avatars. To this day I still chat with one of them. (Dearstluv).  Still enjoy her heart.  Such a good natured person. I was also involved in a business venture with someone who created a magazine (Maggie) called WOH  ( Wings of Hope Magazine ).  To this day we still interact in the virtual world, phone chat & calls. So to my surprise,  Churches are alive and well in the Virtual worlds.   There are all kinds of faiths, languages and sizes.   Some are streamed  with a live preacher speaking through an avatar and then there are churches that video stream live real world services.   There is no lack of believers.  I began to attend a church in Scotland (Calvary Chapel) where the Pastor and his wife Ministered to many.   More often then not there was a showing of about 30  avatars in the services.  The Pastor would play his guitar and sing then preach. It's so awesome to see so many people from around the world gathered together of like mind.                                     

So here we go. I  (Bonnie)  am a resident ( term used when you play the game ) of Second Life ( SL which is a very large virtual world ) and Opensim ( which is many smaller Virtual Worlds owned by individuals ).  I've been in Second Life  (SL)  since 2007.  Curiosity was the culprit that caused me to enter SL.  I went to concerts where there were real people singing into the virtual worlds through an avatar.  I went to Dances where there were real people DJing through an avatar.  It was fun.  I enjoy Country Music and met some of my first virtual friends ( Drearstluv & Jodi ) at a bull riding contest. It was hilarious fun with them. Excellent sense of humor.  I am also a Christian and therefore I searched for Christian Clubs and activities,  ( finding 3 groups ).   I  realized this community consisted of people from around the world...WOW!!!
